Not it hasn’t!

Sorry to those of you who checked the site in the last day or so. Our server host was migrating information and apparently something didn’t get migrated properly or some similar event. Regardless we’re back up, and there’s still no real news otherwise.

Apr 1

I, as I’m sure you all do, have Filmkid.com set as my default homepage when I open Firefox. So every time I open my browser I see that my last post was Feb 28th.  I’d love to say we’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to update, but really there’s just no news.  That’s not entirely true, but there was no urgent news.

So, since I posted nothing in the entire month here is my Filmkid March: A Month in Review.

Bello met a writer/director of note and gave him a copy of Several Ways to Die Trying. His opinion of the film was that it is “Adorable” and “Sweet” and he is right. It is both of those things. It’s unclear what this means in terms of our collective careers, but at least it’s nice to know our work is appreciated by someone whose work we appreciate.

I met a crazy man who insisted he’s good friends with a local documentarian and could get me a job. I gave him a copy of the movie, and several weeks later when I saw the man again he had no idea who I was. Either he was lying to get a free DVD, or he was really crazy. Either way- I’m flattered at the idea of someone going to the trouble of coming up with an elaborate ruse to procure my work, or at the very minimum I gave a crazy guy something to watch. And crazy people need DVDs too.

Sadly, that about rounds out the month. I’m hoping April pans out a little better.
