I’ve not abandoned you.

by filmkid on Jan.29, 2010, under Filmkid News

I’ve not updated you in a far too long, but it’s not my fault- We’ve just had nothing to say, but that will all change soon, as Dieck is FINALLY actually making progress on the Man vs. Self footage from almost SIX MONTHS AGO.

With the big DVD release we’ll actually have a chance to produce more work, likely a few shorts to start out with. Maybe (hopefully) even Ryan the Talkative Mime.

I’ve been talking to superfan Nick Taylor about redesigning the site and that will probably happen soon. Until then I’ll be off telling jokes to strangers and you can follow all that action on glentickle.com.

So for now, no real news, just a lot of maybes, but I’m hoping to have some new projects coming up soon.

Release Day!

by filmkid on Dec.15, 2009, under Filmkid News

Several Ways to Die Trying is officially released to the world on DVD today! You can buy it on Amazon or have almost all major retailers special order you up a copy. You can rent it on Netflix, but I’ve been told the queue cites a “very long wait” So just buy it instead, or maybe start bugging Netflix to buy some more copies.

It’s been a long road for this movie, but I think we’re all happy with how it turned out. Thanks for your continued support of Several Ways to Die Trying and our other Filmkid projects!

Love,
Filmkid LLC

TWO WEEKS

by filmkid on Dec.01, 2009, under Filmkid News

December 15th is fast approaching, kids. So why not beat that holiday rush and pre-order Several Ways to Die Trying from Amazon or throw it on your Netflix Queue in delightful anticipation. You can do both those things right now, and you absolutely should.

We’re all very excited about the release, and we’ll be celebrating that excitement at the Allentown Brew Works on December 15th. Then we’ll be following up that excitement with the excitement that comes with seeing Filmkid himself, Glen Tickle, do stand up as part of the Tickle Me Tuesday (no relation) showcase at the Brew Works that night.

Hope to see everyone there.

Nick Taylor, Master of Webs.

by filmkid on Aug.27, 2009, under Filmkid News

Filmkid superfan and all around great guy Nick Taylor (of ntaystudios.com fame) will be helping with the transition to the new web host and will be laying out a new look for the site. Nick is a talented filmmaker in his own right, and we’re glad we get a chance to exploit some of that talent for the new site.
