Several people have expressed to me that they want a copy of the movie, but for various reasons are unable or unwilling to pay $17 for it. While I think this is silly I am sensitive to the blight of others in this dying economy so I offer the follow challenge:
If you don’t think the movie is worth $17- offer us something else.
That’s right. Barter for it. Are you a musician? Send us a CD. Painter? Paint us something. Etc. In the interest of fairness though we’d like a preview first. Afterall, we’ve got the trailer up here so you at least have some idea of what you’re getting.
So go post in the forum under the Barter section with what you’re offering and if we’re interested we’ll give you the greenlight to send it along. When we get it I’ll shoot you back a copy of the movie.

This is the greatest thing I’ve ever read. Bringing back the barter system is simply fantastic. And I’m all for it. I, myself would’ve already bought a copy of the movie, if I had a credit card.

#1- Dear Sean,
We take cash…as a matter of fact, we love it. Work it out with Glen, I know he could make that happen. After all, what a shame our #1 website fan is without his very own copy of SWTDT. Lets make that happen!
#2-Dear Everyone,
Please dont try and do us like the Pilgrims did the Native Americans, which was not cool. Bartering is mad cool, like all of us over here at Filmkid and all of our faithful admirers, so lets keep it real!!
Peace, Love & Laughter!!

Yes. Diseased blankets and glass beads will probably not be accepted in exchange for DVDs.

Dammit! Oh, well.

What if you’re a bona fide Native American with authentic Native American blankets, beads, moccasins, or agricultural secrets?

Probably still no, but I think soon I’ll make a list of things Filmkid needs.
