You know any review that starts with the words “Holy Crap!” can only go one of two ways. Thankfully, in the case of Zach Cranor’s response to my stupid movie based on one of his “stupid drawings” it went in the resoundingly positive direction.
As this is the first thing I ever actually adapted it’s nice to see the original work’s creator responding so well to a Filmkid interpretation. I’d also like to thank all of you who watched the rough cut and gave us some feedback- it’ll help a lot in the final cut.
We’ll be finishing the cut up soon and shortly thereafter marrying it to some great Jesse Gimbel music before we start sending it out to festivals.
Thanks again everybody!

You love the screen grab from the shot you laughed at.

You love the screen grab from my ass.
Keeping the shot wide made the shooting of ‘Princess’ more of a joke, as apposed to the cutting in to that rack focus shot earlier where it seems like Bill is making more of a cold-blooded decision to kill her.
How the shot stands- keeping it wide through the raising of the hand and punctuating it with the closer shot is perfect.
If we just did the rack focus shot the joke wouldn’t work, and if we stayed wide it wouldn’t have worked as well.
And that’s why I keep you around, sir.

As the person in the center of this debate (Literally speaking) I have only one question,
What the hell is a rack focus shot?
Thank You, Bill has spoken
